The Perkasa chairman, Ibrahim Ali might have bad intentions when he gave out white packets to the poor Chinese old folks. He meant to disgrace the Chinese.
The organiser of this function is a Chinese doctor as reported by some reliable sources. He too should be condemned for humiliating the Chinese communities.
As we know, white packets or envelopes are meant for funeral purposes. Ibahim Ali, who has many MCA friends, would surely know the culture of Chinese. He chose to give out white packets. I think he has evil intentions.
We are waiting for the response of BN leaders, particularly leaders from MCA, Gerakan and UMNO, who always said they respect the Chinese cultures and traditions.
It is sad to see that these under - privilaged old folks, for a mere sum of rm 10 , are being bullied and humiated just because they are poor and need the money.
We are also waiting for the response of the PR leaders. In any case, this type of mean demeanour would be bad for BN.Chinese with self respect would never accept this nonsense.

The urban poor
If you think all Chinese are rich, you are wrong. I do not have the figure how many percent Chinese are living below poverty line but I do know many are quite poor.
Yesterday, as I walked towards Jaya Jusco, Bukit Tinggi, I heard a small Chinese girl crying," I am hungry."The skinny girl was with her mother and her little brother, who was also skinny. I don`t understand why her mother did not buy her food. Was she poor? She dressed up okay, did not seem to be very poor. Or could it be at that time she got no money? I did not know. Despite the girl`s crying and begging, her mother did not bother. She simply replied," don!t bluff."I felt sorry and sad for the poor girl.
I should have stopped and gave money to the mother but I did not know whether that was an offend to her.I did not stop to help. I felt guilty. May God have mercy for the poor family and all other poor families in Malaysia and other parts of the world.
Every month, I do donate a little bit of money to church and I specify that the money is to be used to help the poor and needy people. May God provide food to all the poor and needy people, especially the poor children.

The possibility of a hung parliament.
My friend, prof. Chuah chung Cheng from Penang , has predicticted that there might be a hung parliament in the next general election. He further pointed out that PR`s states such as Kedah and Selangor are at risk of losing to BN.
Prof Chuah might be correct. BN would use all sorts of tactics to get back the lost states. Another reason is due to infightings in the PR parties. The other factor is that there are many potential frogs in PR. Complacency in PR may cause PR to lose some seats which were narrowly won in the last election.
The senario of a hung parliament is bad for the nation and the people. Let`s pray that the righteous parties and the candidates will win in the election and that the hung parliament would not occur in the next election.

PAS has toned down on the Islamic State
Hassan Ali, the Selangor state exco is contemplating to leave PAS very soon. This gentleman has strongly advocated for Islamic laws . He and Nasarrudin strongly urged PAS to have a unity talk with UMNO.These two gentlemen seem to lose influence in PAS.Good news.
Over the past few weeks, PAS has openly said that it wants to implement Hukum Hudud or Islamic laws if PR forms the next government. But with strong oppositions from DAP and the public, PAS has toned down considerably. It is a good sign. PAS must know that the voters, particularly the Chinese, would not support PAS if it insists to implement Hukum Hudud.
Instead of harping on the Islamic state issues, what PAS should focus should be on issues of corruptions, abuse of power, judiciary independence and equality for all races. If PAS leaders want to be national leaders, they should show maturity, and not be narrow minded.

Political debates.
Taiwan is a matured democratic country. The presidential candidates for 2012 had just finished their grand debates. The candidates put forward their ideals and ideas and the people decide who they want to vote.
We Malaysians are looking forward for a grand political debate among the heads of all the political parties, namely, UMNO, MCA. DAP, SUPP, MIC and Gerakan. These leaders must tell the Malaysians their party ideology, their struggles and what they can do for the rakyat and the nation. From there people make a choice which party or parties they should vote.
If for any reason the leaders are incompetent or have no substance nor material and they do badly in the debates, then they and their parties concerned should not be given any support. Afterall, in democratic countries, only capable political leaders and the right parties which champion for the interests of the people should be voted in.

Destiny
Different people have different destiny. Some people live to ripe full age, satisfactory , prosperous and meaningful life. Others live a short, miserable, poor and regretable life.
I believe everybody would like to live a meaningful and respectable life but not everybody can achieve it.Many factors such as health, determination, family, character and environment affect the life of a person.
My sixth brother lived a short live. He passed away at the age of 26. He led a miserable life and it is a long painful story to tell. I pray that God has mercy for him and he lives happily in the heaven with my late father, grandparents and other relatives who have passed away.
Nobody can escape death.Nobody wants to live a miserable life. Few people such as the casino king of Macau and Lee Kuan Yew can smile their ways to the graves. Most ordinary people will struggle and appear to be in deep agony at the moment they breathe their last breath . They refuse to close their eyes. They do not want to die. Their lives were meaningless, futile, short-lived and no legacy was left. Soon, the world has forgotten these people had ever existed on Earth.
In any case, I just pray that our God has mercy for these pitiful souls. They have had a miserable life while on Earth. They need love of God more than people like Lee Kuan Yew, Mao Zedong or Gaddafi. If God is a passionate God who shows mercy to these unfortunate souls, perhaps their death is a gain for they are rewarded with an eternal life.
