Rule 72

Dear investors,

Here is a rule called rule 72. Supppose you have 100k and you put in FD with rate 4 percent per annum ,then it takes 18 years ( 72 divided by 4) to double your money. Suppose you put the same amount of money in public mutual( say regular saving fund) with annual return of 10 % then it takes about 7 years( 72 divided by 10) for you to get 200k back.

You may ask me , with the present economic conditions, can public mutual give you 10 % per annum? The answer is yes because we practise dollar cost averaging. That is we invest more in the downturn market to bring down your cost price and in ten years time an average return of 10 % per annum is achievable. Thanks.

Dear voters,

The votes in your hands are important because they decide your future and also future of your future generations. Do not vote for candidates whose family members are corrupt and immoral. Like father like son. If the father is immoral ( like involving in sex scandals) , the son is most probable to follow his father`s footstep.If the father was a corrupt politician before , most probably the son will also be corrupt. Teach them a lesson by voting them out. Then Malaysia political arena can be cleansed. Here is not America. We cannot accept an immoral politician like Clinton.Neither can we support a political leader who gathers wealth by corrupt means. You have to bear the consequence to be poor if you vote in the immmoral and corrupt candidates.

The current market downturn is temporary.According to gravitational law,what goes up must come down. It would be very dangerous if the market keeps moving up because the unit price might be too high and the fund managers have to buy the shares at high price.

According to Warren Buffet, it is a golden opportunity to collect good shares when market is down. A real investor feels happy when market is down . A punter will be sad when market is down.



At this moment,our fund managers are busy collecting blue chips . This process of dollar cost averaging will bring down your cost price and when the market recovers one day you will get very good return.



An investor who had invested 50k in PRSF at 95 cts in 1994 had generated a total return of 168k in 2007. For the same amount of money and the same duration in FD only generates 95k and epf return of 105 k. So you have actually made a wise decision to invest in public mutual.

Do not vote for the unworthy candidates

Dear Malaysian voters,

Election is around the conner and you are going to elect your favourite candidates very soon.
Let me remind you that your votes are paramount for if you make the wrong choice you and your future generations will suffer due to the wrong decision you have made.

I am not telling you how to vote or who to vote. But let me tell you if you choose the wrong candidates, your pocket money will shrink and you will be poorer by half a million if you can live long enough.
Dear friends, suppose you elect an irresponsible candidate and later on this YB pass resolutions or support bills that increase toll, cukai pintu, taxes ,petrol fare and others, you will become poor for the rest of your life because for the rest of your life you have to work hard to pay the mounting bills but the YB you have just voted would then be living in bungalow, with large piece of land and lots of money to spend because he might be rewarded by some quarters for passing those bills that are detrimental to the welfare of the people.
The Chinese had paid a huge price for supporting Mao Zedong and in turn Mao killed them in the great leap forward and in the cultural revolution.Absolute power corrupts absolutely and we have to bear consequences of corruptions if we make the wrong choice in voting.

Again, they are candidates who pretend to be clean . But these unworthy candidates keeps mistress (like Chua Sai Lek)and they get rich through dishonest means. So friends, do not get cheated by these wollves who dress up in sheep`s clothings. Make the right decision to cast out the dirty politician. Do not vote for Chua Sai Lek`s Son. Like father like son. We must elect a candidatete who is clean , trustworthy and responsible.
