Blessing In Disguise

The world is experiencing the worst economic crisis since the great depression of America. Demands and supplies of raw materials and natural resources are reduced. This is a good sign because there will be less developments and less deforestation.

For the time being , the wild animals and plants have a larger space to breath

A New Chapter In The History Of America

Obama had been sworn in as the 44th president of America. He is the first black to be president of America. It is in fact something unusual and unique because never in the history of America a black was accepted by whites to be their leader.

We really hope Obama will contribute to the recovery of the world`s economy . We hope under Obama the world will be more peaceful and environmentally friendly

A new Chapter In America

In a couple of hours later, the world will be able to observe the sworning in of Obama, the 44th president of America. Millions of people have flocked to Washinton and they will observe the inaguration ceremony. It will be a historic moment not only for the Americans but also to the whole world for this is the first time a black has become the president of America after so many years of independence.

We do share the joy of Obama and his family. May God grant him wisdom so that he will bring peace , prosperity, freedom and justice not only to America but also to the whole world

By election result in Kuala Trengganu Is A bad Sign For BN

Though BN had poured in millions of ringgits and thousands of man power in the Kuala Trengganu parliamentary by election seat, it still lost to PAS.

Despite the fact that Hukum Hudud and Islamic state issues were being played up, most voters still vote for PAS. It was a great defeat for BN.

Perhaps it is time for BN to get rid of leaders who are tainted with sex scandals and corruptions. Reform of BN is the only solution. Otherwise the future is gloomy for BN

Restoring World`s economic regulations

The world leaders must sit down and work out regulations to prevent the recurance of the world`s economic crisis. If the economists cannot devise a method to regulate economic policies , the crisis will recur and the whole world will suffer again.

Gratitude

whenever government gives people some goodies such as allocation of funds, people are reminded to show gratitude to the government.

This is interesting. Because it is the rakyats who authorise the government to take care of the people and the nation`s money. The government or the politicians concrned should be grateful to the people, not the other way round.

Wisdom

There are some people who have got no intelligence nor wisdom. There are some people who have intelligence but no wisdom. So they talk and act without wisdom. It is a sad thing. Take for example, some pas leaders talk without wisdom. Similarly some MCA and UMNO leaders act and talk without wisdom.
As rakyats are politically aware nowadays, gone are the days where politicians can fool people by offering bribes and threats.

My Late Grandmother

My grandmother was a great woman. My grandfather passed away at young age and my grandmother got to take care of her three sons and a daughter. My father was the second son in the family.

Poor and single, my grandmother got to tap rubber in order to earn a living . She sacrificed for the family.

My grandmother`s name is Loi Luk Moi. She came from China at a very young age. Her family was poor and she was sold by her family in China and she got married at a very young age. After my grandfather passed away, my grandmother remained a widow till she passed away at 77 years old.

When I was about to enter University Malaya in january 1998, my father had got no money and my grandmother gave me rm 700 for me to go to university. I am very much indebted to my grandmother.

My grandmother loved me and my brothers and sisters very much. She always cooked food for all of us. She bought food for us and she used to tell us a lot of her stories and stories of her hometown in China. She told us the culture of the Chinese in the olden China and she taught us how to sing songs and hyms.

My grandmother had passed away for more than two decades but I cannot forget her. Though she suffered tremendously in her childhood, as a teenager and as a widow, she shouldered all responsibilities as a mother with dignity and integrity. She worked hard to bring up her children and she suffered a lot due to a lot of unhappy circumstances.

I am glad that my grandmother embraced christianity in her old age. She liked to go to church though my uncle objected.

My grandmother is a remarkable woman. Without the money she gave me for my further study, I dare not imagine what would happen to me then. I owe my grandmother so much and I can never pay her back for the love and the caring attitudes for my family, especially my brothers and my sisters.

May God take good care of my grandmother. May she live happily in the heaven forever with God.

The Audacity Of Hope

When i read the book titled " Audacity Of Hope", i was really touched by it. In this book Obama mentioned that before he became famous, only two people turned up to listen to his talk and even pastor in the church ignored him by not acknowledging him.He had suffered a lot of hardship and humiliations

Today the scenario has changed. All people, poor or rich, young or old, black or white, would like to associate with Obama. It is the nature of human being and it is a norm.

The experience of Obama is a good lesson for all of us. All people stand a chance to succeed provided he or she is willing to change

A Bleak New Year

2009 will be a bleak year to many people. When times are bad , perhaps people will return to God again. We have to live by faith.

To those people who used to live beyond their means, they have to repent and change their habits.

Greed causes suffering to many people. Hopefuly mankinds will learn from the present economic downturn and they won`t repeat the same mistakes committed by the Americans.
