The fact that even Singapore cannot escape from the world`s economic crisis is an eye opener to everybody , particularly to the Singaporeans. This is more so because both senior and junior Lee have stressed many times that only the PAP could save Singapore and the opposition could bring an end to economic growth in Singapore.
But now, Temasek, the Singapore government`s arm of investment company , is losing billions of dollars. This shows that however intelligent Lee`s family seemed to be , Singapore cannot escape from economic downturn.
If the opposition were to be given a chance to rule Singapore, I think it can do as well, if not better than PAP. It is time Lee kuan Yew stops making unfounded threats about the disasters that singapore will face if opposition were allowed to rule Singapore
