I attended a talk by mr Hu, mayor of Taichung, Taiwan in Sin Chew jit Poh headquarter in PJ on 21 July 2010. He is humble, humorous and friendly. He was a diplomat.
He and his wife met an accident many years ago. He was seriously injured. His wife`s limb was amputated. His opponent, Chen Shui Bian , even publicly claimed that Hu would kick the bucket anytime. But mr. Hu is a tough person. He overcame all sorts of hardship and under his leadership, Taichung becomes a very developed city of Taiwan.
If Malysian politicians are humble enough to learn from mr Hu and practice what mr. Hu did, Malaysia will be a nice country to live in.
