My Late Father

My father`s name is Ling Loon Tee. He passed away on the 3 July 2004. He passed away at the age of 73.

My late father was a great man. He was a farmer. He was also a rubber tapper. Eeveryday he woke up early to tap rubber. Sometimes I helped him too. Afternoon he went to the plantation to grow chilli, paddy, tobaco , watermelon or vegetables. He worked hard till late at night.

He worked hard to get money for my family who consisted of 10 members, ie my father, mother and eight brothers and sisters. One of my brother had passed away at the age of 26. I am the eldest in the family. My father loved me dearly and my father sacrificed his youth and energy to support my education. Being a farmer, my late father led a difficult and poor life. He hardly could make ends meet. Many times he had to borrow money or owed people`s money to get food. We led a poor life

Though his hard work and perseverence, I managed to finish my education in University.
My late father stayed in Sitiawan ,Perak while I stayed in Shah Alam. I only met him few times in a year.I had failed to provide my father a comfortable life when he was old.

Now that my father has gone to rest With God. I feel sad that I am no longer able to be with my father anymore. I could only console myself because my late father embraced christianity in the later part of his life. I pray that God will take care of him
