President Obama decided to meet Dalai Lama in the white house.China is furious. It takes some measures to 'punish" America. This is expected. In fact, the not so intelligent China leaders always act emotionaly and impulsively.
Obama meeting with Dalai Lama is just a small matter. It is the meeting between president of a country with a religious leader. THE Chinese leaders should not resent to such type of meeting. On the countrary, they should encourage meetings of such kind to promote world peace. Of course it is a different story if Obama and Dalai Lama discuss the issue of independence of Tibet.
The selling of US bonds by China is expected. The Chinese government thinks that it is a good way to "punish" America. But it is silly. The Americans would also retaliate such as imposing higher duties on Chinese goods or produce.
As long as Obama and Dalai Lama do not touch on the independence of Tibet, the Chinese government should not interfere. It is childish to stop people from discussing religion.
