Political Frogs

There are many political frogs in Malaysia. Before they get elected , they promised all the heavens to the constituents.

After they get elected, they forget their earlier promise and they jump from party to party to get personal gains and benefits.

We Malaysians must recognise the political frogs` true face. Get rid of them in the next general election

I agree with you, Mr Ling. It annoys me, too. Hopefully the Sultan would call for a by-election. Most of the time, voters elect MPs based on their political parties, hoping for change. If the an MP gets elected from the Opposition, and then jumps over to another party, wouldn't that leave the rakyat with NO CHOICE but only one political party to choose from? Wouldn't it be better to hold an election between a sole political party (Barisan against Barisan) in the first place? Indeed, the MPs may find their party no longer appealing, but they have to remember that many voters in their constituency elected them because of the party they represent, as they wanted change.

And if you study the situation carefully, you'll learn that two of the MPs were charged for corruption. So, I wouldn't be too surprised if this was a case of money politics. We'll see what happens.
